We understand the additional strain and stress we are all going through at present. Our clients are being extremely wonderful and supportive of the extra measure we have implemented. The measures are there to ensure both our clients and staff are kept as safe as possible while we ensure all our fur-babies get the much needed essential services they need to maintain their health and comfort. - We are able to work around covid19, please phone to discuss.

For clients that have concerns and are self isolating without potential sickness.

We are more than happy to offer a concierge service - a-to-the-car concierge service as a collect and return option. This will greatly minimise any contact while still allowing your pet to receive their much needed regular grooming.

All you need to do is phone the Day Spa when you are out the front or Text us an SMS and we will come out to you.

  • Phone us to say you are outside.
  • Please be ready with your dog's collar/lead/harness already on.
  • We will meet you beside you car.
  • EFTPOS can be provide. Direct Debit is an option and we are still accepting CASH Payments.

We hope by offering this option, we will be able to continue our business and ensure our staff have paid hours for work.

Why Do We Need This Policy?

We understand that emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, a small cancellation fee ensures that you don't feel bad about inconveniencing our schedule.

By booking an appointment, customers are reserving our staff’s time and determining a portion of our income for that day. Just as your time is important to you, our time is also important to us. Cancellations with little or no notice, costs us money as our staff still need to be paid.

We are a small family business trying to make a living, just like you!

How to Cancel

  • All cancellations and reschedules must be made by phone. We cannot accept cancellations or reschedules by email, text, or any other means.
  • A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for cancellations and reschedules.

Cancellation Fees

  • After 48 hours: 30% of the service total
  • After 24 hours: 50% of the service total
  • No-show: 100% of the service total

Late Cancellations

We understand that emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, we must charge a cancellation fee to help cover the loss of income and to contribute towards staff wages. We will respect your privacy and will not ask you to explain your reasons for canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

No-Shows

We expect that all of our customers will do their best to remember their appointments and to plan well in advance of any changes that may need to be made. No-shows, however, are an expense to our business. If we experience repeat no-shows (more than twice), we will now be required to ask for prepayment over the phone when bookings are made.

PUPARAZZI Day Spa - Release, Waiver, and Hold Harmless Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of service. By signing below, you, the pet owner or their representative ("Client"), acknowledge your understanding and acceptance of these terms in consideration for the grooming services provided by PUPARAZZI Day Spa.

1. Service Rates & Variable Conditions I understand that all grooming services are charged at a rate based on the time required to complete the service. I acknowledge that factors such as a dog's behaviour, temperament, and coat condition will affect the service duration and final price. Difficult or aggressive behaviour, matting, or an exceptionally dirty coat will require additional time and will result in a higher cost.

2. Matted Coats & Necessary Shave-Downs

  • I understand that if my pet's coat is found to be matted, the only humane option may be a close shave-down. This procedure is performed to prevent pain, discomfort, and potential skin issues for the pet. I acknowledge that shaving a matted coat carries a higher risk of nicks, cuts, or skin irritation due to the proximity of the blade to the skin. I consent to this procedure if deemed necessary by the groomer for the well-being of my pet and release PUPARAZZI Day Spa from any liability for issues that may arise from it.
  • I also acknowledge that it is common for pets to experience temporary skin sensitivity, itchiness, or "tickle sensations" for a few days after a close shave-down as the hair begins to grow back. I agree to monitor my pet and take measures to discourage excessive scratching, which can lead to self-inflicted irritation or sores. PUPARAZZI Day Spa is not responsible for any post-grooming, self-inflicted skin irritations.

3. Appointments, Punctuality & Pick-Up

  • Grooming Duration: I understand that grooming times are estimates. We operate as a Day Spa. Check-ins are normally between 8:00 and 9:00 am, and Daycare is included until Closing. When your dog is ready for collection, we will send you a text message. You are welcome to collect at any time thereafter and before closing.
  • Late Arrival: I understand that if I am more than 60 minutes late for my appointment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and a fee equivalent to 100% of the scheduled service will apply. At the sole discretion of management, my appointment may be accepted if the schedule allows, without a fee.
  • Early Arrival for Pick-Up: I agree not to arrive before receiving the collection text. I understand that my premature arrival can excite my pet, making the grooming process dangerous and difficult to complete. An extended time required to settle the pet due to an early arrival will incur an additional fee, or the groom may be terminated at full price.
  • Late Pick-Up: I agree to collect my pet before closing time. A late pick-up fee will apply for any collection after business hours, as the salon staff will be paid overtime.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a fee equivalent to 30% of the scheduled service.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the scheduled service.
  • No-Shows: Failure to arrive for an appointment without notification will incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the scheduled service.

5. Health, Safety & Pre-Existing Conditions I understand that grooming equipment is sharp and that accidents can occur, especially with nervous or moving pets. While PUPARAZZI Day Spa will exercise all due care, I acknowledge the inherent risks. I agree to hold harmless PUPARAZZI Day Spa, its owners, and its employees from any damage, loss, or claim arising from any pre-existing condition of my pet, whether known or unknown. These conditions include, but are not limited to, advanced age, nervousness, illness, prior injury, physical malformations, skin allergies, warts, cysts, tumors, heart conditions, respiratory issues (including those common to brachycephalic breeds), arthritis, hip/elbow dysplasia, epilepsy, recent surgery, spinal conditions, or a history of aggression. I understand that in the event of an accident, I am still responsible for payment of the grooming service.

6. Emergency Veterinary Care In the event of any medical emergency, I authorize PUPARAZZI Day Spa to seek immediate veterinary care for my pet at my expense. I agree to pay all costs for any necessary services, handling, or transportation.

7. Parasites (Fleas & Ticks) I understand that if fleas, ticks, or other parasites are discovered on my pet during the grooming process, a flea bath or appropriate treatment will be administered at my expense. A salon sanitization fee of $10.00 will also be charged to cover the cost of de-bugging the facility.

8. Right to Refuse Service PUPARAZZI Day Spa reserves the right to refuse service to any client or pet for any reason at the discretion of management.

Acknowledgement and Consent

By agreeing to visit our Day Spa you certify that you have read, understood, and agree to all the terms and conditions outlined in this Release, Waiver, and Hold Harmless Agreement.
